In order to address the needs of today’s 9-1-1 system while laying the policy groundwork for Next Generation systems, public safety professionals must understand critical emergency communications policy issues, and take an active role in educating decision makers and enlisting them as allies.
At 9-1-1 Goes to Washington, you will do both. You will discuss the needs of the 9-1-1 community with your appointed and elected officials and gain the knowledge and resources necessary to become a more effective leader in our shared mission to make public safety a priority in Washington, DC and in all fifty states and the U.S. Territories.
