Bexar Metro 9-1-1 Quarry Run Regional Operations Center
Get a first look at this brand new PSAP, officially opening in June! Quarry Run is a hardened facility that will serve as the primary PSAP for the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and provide backup communications capabilities for the San Antonio Police Department Communications Unit, San Antonio Fire Communications, and all PSAPs within Bexar, Comal, and Guadalupe Counties.

The main operations floor, covering 13,000 square feet, supports 100 Airbus Vesta equipped 9-1-1 workstations. A fifty-input video wall allows operations personnel to access and control multiple displays on the 96-panel video wall, to include local and national news broadcast, building camera network, 9-1-1 call queue data, Texas Department of Transportation highway camera feeds, and video downlink data provided by the San Antonio Police Department and Texas Department of Public Safety Helicopter Units.

In addition to the PSAP, the facility includes two tier-4 data centers, an incident command center, 9-1-1 and radio equipment support areas, multiple conference rooms, and a regional training center.
