Locations operated by Hamra Enterprises celebrate National 9-1-1 Education Month
As part of National 9-1-1 Education Month, the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) and Hamra Enterprises are partnering to honor local 9-1-1 professionals at twenty-five Hamra-owned Wendy’s restaurants.
From April 16-29, 9-1-1 personnel and field responders receive a free small Frosty after presenting their work ID at the register. Additionally, customers have the opportunity to make contributions in support of local 9-1-1 dispatchers by donating $1 at the register or drive-thru. Visitors to locations with outdoor marquees will see messages thanking 9-1-1 for keeping our communities safe.
“During National 9-1-1 Education Month, and throughout the year, Hamra Enterprises is proud to support our local 9-1-1 professionals,” said Bonnie Simon, Hamra's Regional Director of Operations. “Each of us relies on 9-1-1 to be there in times of crisis, and we are excited to acknowledge the dedicated heroes of 9-1-1 in our community.”
“National 9-1-1 Education Month is an opportunity to raise public awareness of the important job done by 9-1-1 professionals,” said NENA CEO, Brian Fontes. “NENA is grateful to Hamra Enterprises and its Chicago-area team members for recognizing the hardworking 9-1-1 community in Illinois and beyond.”
