NENA: The 9-1-1 Association today announced that Jennifer Haag, Program Manager Analyst for the Indiana Statewide 911 Board, has been selected by the association’s Board of Directors to serve as NENA’s North Central Region Director.
“I am truly honored by this appointment,” said Haag. “I look forward to working with the rest of the board, NENA staff, and our committees and working groups to serve NENA’s membership and improve 9-1-1.”
Haag has worked in 9-1-1 since 2002 and has served in her current position as Program Manager Analyst since 2015. In this role she develops, collects, and analyzes annual financial and statistical data reports from the state’s PSAPs to prepare reports for federal, state, and local officials. She has been involved with Indiana’s statewide 9-1-1 network since its inception. Previously, she worked for INdigital as their 9-1-1 Database Administrator where she coordinated with telecommunication companies and PSAP directors to provide 9-1-1 centers with the most accurate location information across Indiana and adjacent states.
A NENA member since 2015 and a certified Emergency Number Professional (ENP) since 2012, Haag has also been active at the chapter level, serving on the Indiana Conference Committee and Industry Partner Committee.
Haag’s appointment fills the vacancy on the board created when the former North Central Director, Gary Bell, was sworn in as the association’s Second Vice President.
