Louisa Lake, ENP
Louisa is a Public Safety Consultant for Mission Critical Partners, LLC (MCP) and has worked in public safety communications for more than 28 years. For the last five years, Louisa has been coordinating MCP’s ENP Study Group, a program that has helped over 500 Emergency Communications Specialists prepare for NENA’s ENP certification.
Louisa began her career as a Telecommunicator; however, she quickly progressed into a training role, then supervisory position for the Greensboro Police Department’s Emergency Communications Division in North Carolina. Louisa was a valued member of the Department: during the consolidation of city and county operations, she was responsible for revising the policies and procedures necessary for a consolidated center. In her current role at MCP, Louisa has developed extensive experience in PSAP operations and makes recommendations in alignment with national standards and best practices.
Louisa is a certified Emergency Number Professional and maintains additional certifications from the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch. In 2017, Louisa was awarded the North Carolina NENA President’s Award for her work with the ENP Study Group program.
