Marc Berryman, ENP
Marc Berryman, ENP is a Senior Project Manager for Mission Critical Partners (MCP) and has a 24-year background in GIS, working for both public- and private-sector industries. With over 15 years of 9-1-1 operational experience, Marc brings to NENA an ability to deliver, in an easy-to-understand way, the complex subjects involved in GIS and NG911.
Marc is the former GIS Engineer for the Greater Harris County 9-1-1 Emergency Network (Houston, TX), where he maintained GIS data for 43 PSAPs with a total population of more than four million citizens. In addition to his data work, Marc also built relationships with local public safety associations, organizations, and entities through a Public Safety GIS collaboration group. Before coming to MCP, Marc served as the 9-1-1 Services Director for Digital Data Technologies, Inc., and he also worked as a GIS consultant for several Fortune 100 companies.
Marc serves as a strategic advisor to the NENA Development Steering Committee and has been involved with NENA Standards and Information development for nearly two decades. He also authored the 2008 publication "Addressing Systems; A Training Guide For 9-1-1.” Marc has provided instruction on GIS and Next Generation 9-1-1, and presented at numerous national and regional conferences.
